"I'm fine," I say, a mask I wear,
A shield to hide the pain I bear.
Behind these words, a storm inside,
Emotions deep I try to hide.
The smile I show, a practiced art,
Conceals the ache within my heart.
You see the surface, calm and bright,
But miss the tears I shed at night.
So when I say that I'm okay,
Look deeper, see the truth I sway.
For "I'm fine" is just a veil,
A silent cry, a hidden tale.
